Director and teacher - Cello, violin, viola, string bass
Dominique Geer loves teaching students of all ages the joys and challenges of playing a stringed instruments.
Dominique began studying the cello at age 5. Her teachers include Gilda Barston, Lillian Rehberg Goodman, Michael Finckel, and Michael Rudiakov. Dominique is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. In addition to teaching private lessons, Dominique served as the Strings teacher in the Bluffton schools from 2000-2003 before transferring to Hilton Head Island where she served as the Strings teacher and Orchestra Director for all levels of the Hilton Head public schools from 2003-2015. Her students regularly participate in Region and All State Orchestras, and school performing groups consistently received Excellent and Superior ratings in national festivals. She has served as a guest clinician and judge at state sponsored auditions and is a member of the American String Teachers Association.
A member of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra from 1997-2015, Dominique also performs with the Hilton Head Choral Society, at area churches, and special events.

Stacey Beane Howe - Violin
Stacey recently moved here from Lexington, KY, where she taught Traditional and Suzuki Violin for over 25 years.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1986 and had Suzuki Violin teacher training at the Louisville Suzuki Institute , the American Suzuki Institute in Stephens Point, WI, and with Craig Timmerman in Lexington, KY.
She has played violin with the Lexington Philharmonic since 1984 and hopes to continue once their season “returns to normal.”
She has also played with the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra in Morehead, KY, and with various choral groups such as the Lexington Singers.
Stacey is grateful to be teaching again and hoping to make more musical connections in the Low Country.
