I want to play an instrument!
I want to play an instrument

Has your child been telling you s/he wants to play an instrument? Strings are a perfect choice because stringed instruments come in sizes, so children of any size can play.

In this short program, we’ll spend two afternoons seeing, hearing, and learning about the stringed instruments which are played with a bow – the orchestral strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass.

Your future musician will get to see examples of how stringed instruments are used in all types of music, how each instrument sounds, and have an opportunity to briefly try any of the instruments.

One hour of the program will be open to parents to ask questions regarding programs and obtaining instruments.

While students won’t be learning to play in this brief program, they will have a chance to see what they can look forward to when they learn to play a stringed instrument. They’ll be ready to begin when the school year starts - or sooner!

Fee: No charge

Students who complete the class will receive a personalized Arco Music Academy discount coupon toward lessons.
